Internet Vikings Enters Mississippi and New York
The iGaming hosting company Internet Vikings has started operating in Mississippi and New York, having expanded its service portfolio in the US market.
Rickard Vikström, founder and CEO of Internet Vikings, noted that it had been paramount to the company to extend its offerings to the Big Apple; however, it had exceeded his expectations. Internet Vikings only recently had expanded its services to The Hospitality State despite it being one of the first states to open its doors to online sports betting as early as 2018.
Rickard Vikström also said that the company prioritized other states with higher demand; having fulfilled the requests of their clients in those markets, they had since shifted their focus to exploring new opportunities; they looked forward to the day when New York embraced other forms of iGaming; as for then, Internet Vikings would concentrate on newly launched markets like Ohio and Massachusetts.
Kristoffer Ottosson, the COO of Internet Vikings, said that their presence in every destination that represented interest to all industry-related businesses was of great importance; to ensure that their clients, old and new, were able to continue their growth without any delays or interruptions.
Internet Vikings has been offering technical hosting solutions to iGaming companies since 2008. Now it owns over 20 data centers worldwide and uses 600 servers. Also, this hosting provider is ISO 27001 certified.
Internet Vikings entered the US market in 2021 and since then has launched in several states, including Iowa and Louisiana. Last year, the company was approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and entered the Keystone State.
