Play’n GO Receives Gambling License in Connecticut
Play’n GO has obtained its fourth US gaming license, now in the state of Connecticut, after being granted similar licenses in West Virginia, New Jersey and Michigan. The company is also authorized to supply its online slot games in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO, noted that gaining further access to the US iGaming market had been an important goal of the company so it’s fantastic to be able to add Connecticut to their US push. He added that online gaming operators in the US were increasingly looking at retention strategies to mitigate against costly acquisition — especially in expensive media markets like the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut tri-state area.
Olsson also said that being able to bring Play’n GO games to Connecticut would be music to the ears of operators and their players. He concluded that their strategy is to be the best in every regulated market in the world; with the new license in Connecticut, there are more than 25 regulated markets wherePlay.n GO is present, and they can’t wait to get started.
In addition to growing its team based in North America, the provider has stated it’s expecting to release more than 50 online slots in 2023 across 25 regulated jurisdictions around the globe. It’s worth noting that Play’n GO’s content made its debut in the UK earlier this year through a partnership with Kindred Group’s 32Red brand.
We would like to remind you that Play’n GO was founded in 2005 and is now one of the largest gaming entertainment suppliers of online slots to the casino industry worldwide. In addition to games, the company also offers back-end services and solutions to ensure operators are equipped to provide the ultimate gaming experience.
