Greentube Extends Its US Presence Through Connecticut License
Greentube, the Interactive division of NOVOMATIC, has been granted an Online Gaming Service Provider license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, so the supplier furthers its expansion in the growing US market.
This is the third license of Greentube within the US; earlier, the company entered Michigan and New Jersey. Now the supplier is ready to partner with operators in the Constitution State, where online casinos and sports betting have been operational since October 2021.
Among the titles of Greentube’s broad entertainment portfolio are Diamond Cash™: Oasis Riches, Diamond Cash™: Mighty Sevens, Diamond Cash™: Mighty Elephant, Diamond Cash™: Mighty Emperor, and also other games specially designed for players in the US.
CFO at Greentube, Michael Bauer, noted that North America continued to be a key region for them and in gaining a third US state license, they had achieved an essential step in their growth journey. Bauer added that there was major potential within the US market, and having acquired additional development capabilities to cater to local players, they believed they were well-placed to serve the market with premium content. He also noted they were looking forward to teaming up with operators in Connecticut and couldn’t wait to see how players in the state react to their portfolio.
It’s important to note that, according to recent data, Connecticut’s online gambling market reached record levels in December 2022: iGaming wagering hit $1 billion for the first time within an overall total of $1.16 billion.
Meanwhile, on the way to extending its presence in the US, Greentube is also preparing to launch in Pennsylvania. Moreover, the supplier’s content creation capabilities in North America were enhanced through a joint venture with Flamingocatz and the acquisition of the US-based developer Present Creative.
