Sky River Casino Is Expected to Open in California in September
In early 2021, work on the construction of the Sky River casino started in California, namely, in Elk Grove, near Highway 99. Today it became known that the building is not only going well but is also expected to be completed two months ahead of the original deadline. Thus, a place with 2,000 slot machines and over 80 table games will become available to local gamblers this September.
The project, estimated at half a billion U.S. Dollars, was launched by the operator and game developer Boyd Gaming and Wilton Rancheria Tribal. The location selected for the casino was the territory of an abandoned shopping center on Grant Line Road.
The almost completed casino covers an area of 100,000 square meters, and besides the playroom, the building will have a conference center, restaurants, a spa, and a hotel.
Jesus Tarango, Chairman of the WRT, noted that the indigenous people had been fighting for their territories and the right to self-sufficiency for decades. He also called a historic joint project with Boyd Gaming that would provide jobs and profits in the long term to both the tribe and its community, and the region in general.
We would like to remind you that FanDuel Group customers from Pennsylvania and Michigan will soon enjoy live games.
