Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa Celebrates 20th Anniversary with $400,000 Donation
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino located in Tampa, Florida, celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. On the occasion of it, the property surprised twenty local charities with $20,000 checks, totaling $400,000 in donations. Hard Rock executives, tribal members and community leaders came together to commemorate the casino’s major milestone and reinforce its core motto to “Love All-Serve All.”
President of Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Steve Bonner said that having been a major economic force in the Tampa Bay area for the past two decades, it’s their privilege to give back through that initiative. He added that “Love All-Serve All” was more than a motto to them; it’s their guiding principle. Bonner also noted that through their philanthropic efforts, they continued to invest in the community by advocating for important causes that are making a real difference in countless lives every day.
Seminole Hard Rock is one of Tampa Bay’s largest employers with over 4,300 employees currently working at the resort. In 2019, the property was expanded, and since then it has made a significant economic impact in the region. In particular, the number of occupied hotel rooms reaches 283,000 per year, so the impact on local tourism is remarkable.
Over two decades Seminole Hard Rock Tampa has invested more than $10 million in philanthropic initiatives to support over 100 organizations throughout the region.
Bonner said that they wanted to use that occasion as a celebration of their successes and accomplishments. But, more importantly, he added, they wanted to give back to show they were extremely grateful for the overwhelming support from the Tampa Bay community throughout all of those years.
In other news, Caesars Virginia will increase the cost of the casino project in Danville to $750 million.
