Rivers Casino’s Landing Hotel Almost Ready to Open in Pittsburgh
Rivers Casino’s $60 million hotel on the North Shore is just about ready for opening after a long pandemic-induced delay. Jack Horner, Rivers spokesman, notes that no official opening date has yet been announced, but pre-bookings are available. Currently, on the hotel website, it’s possible to book a room starting from November 7th.
The Landing Hotel was included in a presentation casino operator Holdings Acquisition Co. made to the PGCB on Wednesday before members unanimously voted to renew the gambling venue’s license for another five years.
It is worth noting that the construction of the hotel began in 2019. However, the coronavirus pandemic greatly impacted the process, and the casino was forced to suspend the hotel’s construction until June 2021.
The hotel is attached to the casino’s east side near the Carnegie Science Center.
According to the website, the hotel will have 210 rooms available: studio and one-bedroom suites, as well as standard rooms and 10 luxury terrace suites, each with private first-floor patios. The hotel also has a presidential suite with three full bathrooms, two king bedrooms, a separate lounge, and 55- and 65-inch TVs. The suite is 1,400 square feet.
We would like to recall that Mississippi Gaming Commission has given approval to TCSJOHNHUXLEY.
