NCPG Adds New Members to Its Advisory Board
Aiming to strengthen operations, the National Council on Problem Gambling has expanded its advisory board. New officers will be helping the organization better guide policies on responsible gambling in North America.
One of the new members is Christopher Hebert. He is the former Director of the Gaming Division in the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office. Hebert will step in the position of Advisory Board Chairman and will replace Oregon Lottery Director of Corporate Social Responsibility Stacy Shaw. Martin Lycka, Entain Group’s SVP of American regulatory affairs & responsible gambling, will be the new vice chair.
Keith Whyte, NCPG’s Executive Director, commented on these new appointments. He said that they were incredibly pleased. He added that both officers had been highly engaged leaders in their field for years, and they were excited to utilize their talents and expertise in a new way. Whyte concluded that he looked forward to working closely with the full advisory board to advance the organization’s mission and their ambitious goals for the future.
Christopher Hebert also expressed excitement. He intends to give his best being serving as advisory board chair.
New NCPG’s chairman is a well-seasoned veteran with more than 17 years of working experience as an Assistant Attorney General. He also has actively worked on the creation of the Problem Gambling Resource Services program together with the Louisiana Department of Health.
Martin Lycka was also excited at the new opportunity. He said that he would be honored to be the vice chair and help NCPG.
