Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort to Reopen on April 27
According to the American media, April 27, 2022 will be a milestone date for the prestigious Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The property will begin welcoming guests again after it closed its doors at the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020.
The resort has undergone reconstruction, the cost of which amounted to $600 million. The facility now has 766 hotel rooms, 95,000 square feet of casino space and 190,000 square feet of meeting, conference and major event space, a 73,000 square foot swimming pool, and 39 cabanas.
The restaurant and bar map will feature Scotch 80 Prime and Mable’s BBQ, the new Send Noodles and Serrano Vista Café brands.
San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority Chairman Latisha Casas said the operator is ready to welcome hundreds of new guests again after a long time, offering everyone new services and unforgettable experiences.
“We look forward to introducing our guests to our rich history, culture and signature hospitality”, said Casas.
The updated Palms Casino Resort will feature over 1,500 slot machines and 40 table games.
In May 2021, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and SMGHA became the official owners of the Palms Casino Resort brand. The combined group purchased the property from Red Rock Resorts. The amount of the transaction reached $650 million.
As a result, The Palms became the first and only casino owned by Native Americans from Las Vegas.
