Internet Vikings Approved to Operate in Pennsylvania
A global hosting provider, Internet Vikings, has received an approval in Pennsylvania and now is able to deploy its Multi-Tenant Cloud hosting product within the US state.
Internet Vikings called this move another goal in the US iGaming and online sports betting market as it prepares to increase the volume of clients the company services in the state.
Rickard Vikström, Internet Vikings Founder and CEO, noted that he was extremely pleased to receive the authorization from Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to operate their Multi-Tenant Cloud hosting services in the state of Pennsylvania.
Vikström also said that the latest advancement was not only an important gain for Internet Vikings, it enabled their company to address the global hardware shortage currently faced by the industry, which in its turn gave a competitive advantage to their clients allowing for a quicker time to enter the American market.
The company believes that the state of Pennsylvania is one of the more important markets in the US since it is among few jurisdictions permitting all three online wagering types: online casino, online sports betting and online poker. Besides, this state is always among the five highest-grossing ones in terms of revenue generated.
Today there are more than 20 local data centers within the country providing clients in 18 US states with Internet Vikings’ custom products, and in the near future there will be even more centers across the US.
Kristoffer Ottosson, Internet Vikings COO, noted that they wanted to continue adding value to iGaming and online sports betting businesses across the US with their extensive understanding of the market and reliable cloud hosting options.
Ottosson added that expanding their service offerings in Pennsylvania was a big step forward for them, and the team looked forward to welcoming new clients and partnerships.
