Two Casinos in the State of New York Offer Stable Jobs on Favorable Terms
Local casinos in the state of New York once again demonstrate their value to the local economy. This week, the previously announced recruitment events will take place. The employers and organizers are Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona and Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady.
An intention to fill some vacancies was announced. Affordable housing, free training, and bus passes were cited as benefits for future employees.
Turning Stone Resort Casino will host its event on August 23rd at the Albany Capital Center. The company needs to hire table game dealers and cooks. Approved applicants will receive a 401(k) plan, health care, and tuition compensation. For accommodation, new employees are offered apartments at the Nation’s The Villages complex at Stoney Creek on favorable terms.
It is worth noting that the Turning Stone Resort Casino is one of the most respected gambling establishments in the state and in the country. Last year, it received 24 awards for outstanding gambling operations in the 2021 Gaming Awards from Casino Player magazine.
Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, in turn, expects to hire over 20 new employees. On August 22, the casino launched a six-week Dealer’s Academy to train candidates in the field of table games for free. Participants have to be at least 21 years old and will be issued a New York State gaming license after passing the course. In addition to dealers, the resort is looking for a bartender, financial coordinator, security officer, and a number of other employees.
