The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas casino workers got a tangible reward. Some of them were absolutely astonished.
The corporation has about 5,000 workers. Each of them got $5,000. In total, this is a huge sum of $27M. The gifts were provided as the firm Blackstone celebrated its 10th anniversary of owning the venue.
Blackstone is going to sell the casino to MGM soon. The firm can receive about $5.65 billion.
Tyler Henritze, head of strategic investments for Blackstone, reported that it would be impossible without the devoted workers. He also mentioned they are excited to admit their employees’ merits.
The team knew about rewards when the firm held a memorable party. Workers were greatly encouraged. Some of them figural burst into tears.
Edgar Rives, who works as a cook in the casino’s canteen, said it was absolutely adorable. He and his colleagues were convulsively hugging after they heard the announcement.
The Cosmopolitan appeared in 2010 and was obtained by Blackstone in 2014 for $1.7 billion. The casino has about 3,000 rooms, several floors with slots and table games, and areas with restaurants and bars.
