Bally’s Donates $600,000 to ICRG
The International Center for Responsible Gaming has received $600,000 from Bally’s Corporation in funding for research related to gambling.
This donation will support the organization’s research on the effectiveness of responsible gambling tools and the impact of gambling on young people. Part of this amount will be allocated to scientists working in the gambling field in the form of grants.
Arthur Paikowsky, ICRG President, said Bally’s has taken a giant step towards improving the effectiveness of existing responsible gaming tools and understanding the health risks to young adult gamers. Paikowsky expressed the organization’s gratitude to the corporation for such a huge impact on gambling research.
Scientists from around the world will be able to apply for a grant. At the same time, the non-profit organization will ensure a serious selection in order to fund only those studies that are of the highest quality.
Robeson Reeves, the President of Interactive at Bally’s, noted that the corporation takes the responsibility of educating people, in particular, youth and employees of the corporation itself, about responsible gambling seriously. Reeves added that Bally’s is looking forward to collaborating with the ICRG on cutting-edge research on responsible gambling tools and gambling among youth.
