AGA Updates Its Responsible Gaming Regulations Guide Right in Time to the Start of RGEM
The American Gaming Association launches the new edition of the Responsible Gaming Statutes and Regulations Guide together with Responsible Gaming Education Month.
It is worth noting that this guide was last updated in 2019. It is a list of rules and laws regulating the gambling sector’s activities in 32 states and the District of Columbia in the aspect of responsible gaming.
Cait DeBaun, AGA Vice President, Strategic Communications & Responsibility, noted that the guide promoted high standards of compliance with all requirements of responsible gaming, although the commitment of members goes beyond what is required of them.
Since the last guide was issued, land-based casinos have been legalized in two states, gambling has been legalized in two more states, and betting has become legal in 16 states.
Interestingly, the guide update was released just in time for the start of RGEM 2022.
DeBaun also noted that the gambling industry’s commitment to responsibility had only grown stronger with the spread of legal gaming, and RGEM 2022 provided ample opportunity to strengthen employee and player education and highlight the industry’s responsible leadership.
Let us remind you that MGM Resorts International is one step closer to finalizing the LeoVegas deal.
